Veritas Forums
Exploring Life’s Biggest Questions
Poema is the local partner of The Veritas Forum, a national organization dedicated to bringing Christianity into thoughtful dialogue with life’s biggest questions on campus and supporting the publication of student-led journals.
Through yearly public forums, Veritas at UChicago engages timely topics such as artificial intelligence, selfhood and self-expression, purpose in life and work, faith and reason, and the relationship between power and religion. Veritas creates space for honest inquiry, meaningful discussion, and intellectual engagement rooted in the Christian tradition.
Cana Journal
The Student Voice of Christian Thought
CANA is a student-led Christian journal at the University of Chicago that creates space for thoughtful engagement with faith, Scripture, and the questions shaping campus life. Through seasonal series, theological reflections, and annual print publications, CANA invites students to explore the relationship between faith, learning, and everyday life. As part of the Augustine Collective, CANA contributes to a broader conversation of Christian thought taking place on university campuses around the world. Recent issues deal with Authority, Noise and Creativity.
